Excite English home
Accommodation: Lancaster Royal Grammar school residence

Information about the residence

Excite English works with Lancaster Royal Grammar school during the summer. We use their school residence which is located on site (within the school). When staying at the school, the students are provided with a single bed in an ensuite room. Some rooms are single and some are twin. Wherever possible, we put two students of different nationalities together - to help promote English conversation.

About the rooms

  • All rooms en-suite (private bathroom)
  • Boys and girls stay on different floors
  • Safe and secure location
  • Common room with T.V., games console, pool table, table tennis, quiet area for reading, piano, board games.

What to do in the residence?

During the free time, students can play games with each other, read books, do homework or have a rest. The free time is usually 16:00 - 17:00 and 21:00 - 22:00 every day. This is a great opportunity for children to speak to their parents by telephone.

Living away from parents can be quite difficult at first. Therefore, Excite English staff live on site with the children and the staff members are available to speak to children about any concerns they may have.
